High flying jets, inspiring instruction from an experienced pilot, sleeping in cabins, star gazing night hikes... This is not your ordinary week at summer camp! This exhilarating camp combines exciting hands-on activities with knowledge and understanding of the world of Aviation.

At the Strategic Air & Space Museum, we know there’s no better way to learn than hands-on experience, campers will have the opportunity to learn from the best at JET LINX Aviation, a private Jet Company in Omaha.

Campers will receive an exciting tour of the JET LINX terminal, hangars and office, learning from some of the best in the business exactly how exciting a career in aviation can be.  Camper excitement reaches cloud nine in our feature event of the camp: a ride in a JET LINX jet!    

This camp leaves nothing out as campers experience a traditional camp environment, at Platte River State Park while participating in technology based activities such as using our advanced computer simulators. Campers sleep in cabins and spend time enjoying nature and astronomy on night hikes and nature walks as well as an in depth look into aviation in the Strategic Air & Space Museum, surrounded by amazing historical aircraft.

Resident Flight Camp is designed to excite kids ages 10-14. Campers join us at 7:00pm the first night of camp at Platte River State Park and depart at the end of the week at noon from the Museum.
